Young people in the 16 – 25 age group are encouraged through the support of the Volunteer Centre’s Youth Development Officer to participate in volunteering activity to assist themselves and their community. Young volunteers are asked to participate in volunteering of their choice to achieve a Millennium Award Certificate signed by Scotland’s First Minister denoting the successful completion of 200 hours volunteering over a two year period. Certificates are also awarded for 50 and 100 hours volunteering. Training, support and expenses provided. Disclosure check required.
