All Lothian`s Third Sector Interfaces’ (TSIs), including VSGWL, are working in partnership with Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation to provide micro-grants of up to £500 to community organisations based across Edinburgh and the Lothians to tackle vaccine/testing hesitancy. See link for guidance and updated application – https://www.evoc.org.uk/updates/grants-to-combat-vaccine-inequality-hesitancy/
Additional funding has been agreed to support groups working with people who may be experiencing vaccine/testing inequality – carers; black, Asian and minority ethnic communities; homeless people; people with mental health conditions; SIMD areas (amongst other groups of people, this is not an exhaustive list). It can also be used to help reduce vaccine hesitancy. You can apply for funds for a range of activities and ideas, some of these are detailed on the application form, but we are open to hear about your ideas too!
Applications are open again and will be considered on a first come first served basis. EVOC in Edinburgh are managing applications for all TSIs. If you had previously applied to this fund to support vaccinations, you can now reapply in order to support testing.
