The Larder is leading a local partnership that currently includes Blackburn Family Centre, Community Action Blackburn, West Lothian Council and West Lothian College to develop a Training, Skills, Family and Wellbeing Hub in the community of Blackburn.
They aim to establish a modern, inclusive learning family and wellbeing space which will provide opportunities for personal development, learning, childcare, health and social activities for all ages, including a café and bakery operated by The Larder.
The proposed site for this development is Trindley Knowe, Bathgate Road, Blackburn.
They are committed to ensure that this space is co-designed by the local community, relevant stakeholder organisations and potential partners and have created the survey below to ascertain the accommodation needs for the sector.
The Hub could offer a wide range of spaces including;
– Training spaces.
– Meeting space for events, fundraisers, conferences, AGMs etc.
– Delivery space for group activities such as play groups, arts classes etc.
– Counselling rooms.
– Health based activity spaces for family play, group therapy etc.
They would appreciate if you could please take 5-10 minutes to complete this short survey to develop the Hub to best meet your needs.
