The Scottish Government has evaluated the success of the £15 million Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund: Year 1 Monitoring and Reporting Summary
The monies was provided for adults to help tackle the impact of social isolation, loneliness and mental health inequalities made worse by the pandemic. In February 2022, an additional £6 million was provided to meet the demand for local mental health and wellbeing projects. 1842 grants have been awarded through the £21 million fund which has resulted in funding for 1775 projects.
The Scottish Government has confirmed a further £15m of funding. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
