Calling all Dedridge residents, of all ages.
We are having a friendly, family, tidy-up day!
Stuck for something local, free and exciting to do, Look no further! – We are asking for your help – tidying up Crofthead Community garden in preparation for the winter months. There will be some weeding, digging, splitting of plants and if we are lucky some bug finding.
For all those hard at work, Kath will have the café open and be offering refreshments for all our busy volunteers.
Even if you think you’re not able to help on the day ,but fancy some fresh air- please pop along – we’d love to see you.
This is an excellent opportunity for residents and neighbours to come together safely outdoors and learn about gardening from our own TCV expert Alice who will be on hand to advise, support and learn from.
We will have some gloves (of differing sizes) and hand tools available to borrow on the day – If you have your own gloves and hand tools please bring them along.
If you have any spare hand tools you no longer need we’d be happy to accept donations
Help us make a difference to our community!
