ENABLE Works are currently recruiting for 12 starts from West Lothian to start Stage 2 on 5th May (places for both 16/17 and 18 plus).

They will meet learners 2 days per week via Zoom group conference calls and 1:1 call follow ups to offer flexible learning experience.

It’s a great opportunity for people facing barriers and/or difficulties in accessing mainstream education or employment or for those young people who needs help in transition between school and further training or work.

Over 12 weeks they will support learners to:

  • Create their CVs,
  • practice mock interviews,
  • gain understanding of the world of work,
  • learn about personal presentation,
  • learn how to communicate effectively,
  • Achieve their PDA level 3 qualification

During the programme learners will also be supported to look for employment opportunities within different sectors available at the current job market.  This may include working within: Retail, Administration, Horticulture, Health and Social Care, or other areas of employment they identify. If lockdown criteria permits, we will look at introducing work place visits to employers and assisting learners in organising community impact project. These will be done in accordance with government guidelines at that time.

If you know anyone that you think could benefit from this support or think your colleagues may, then please get in touch.
