SUMMARY:Engaging Communities Training (Sold Out)
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to invite you to the Engaging Communities Toolkit Training\, designed to help individuals and organisations develop their community engagement skills. \nThis interactive session will cover:\n✅ What community engagement is and why it matters\n✅ Practical tools and methods to engage effectively\n✅ How to overcome common challenges \nYou can choose from two sessions:\n1. In-Person – 26th March\, 10am – 12pm at The Gateway\, 20-22 King Street\, Bathgate EH48 1AX.\nBook now \n2. Online – 1st April\, 5pm – 7pm. Email vsg@vsgwl.org to request the meeting link. \nBy embedding strong community engagement practices\, we can ensure that our communities are genuinely involved in decisions that affect them. This is particularly important when applying for funding\, where demonstrating meaningful engagement is often required. \nThis session will be informative\, interactive\, and will help you apply engagement practices to your own work\, improving skills and outcomes across West Lothian. \nYou can also explore the Community Engagement Toolkit here. \n\n
