DESCRIPTION:Level 1 Adult Support and Protection Training\nOnline | Wednesday 4th March | 2:00pm – 3:30pm \nThis Level 1 Adult Support and Protection Training provides an introduction to adult support and protection\, including key roles and responsibilities\, and is suitable for those who require an overview of adults at risk of harm. \nThe session is appropriate for front-line\, multi-agency staff\, including statutory\, independent and voluntary sector practitioners. \nLearning outcomes\nParticipants will: \n\n\ngain confidence in identifying harm for an adult \n\n\nunderstand why Adult Support and Protection is needed \n\n\nexplore how to act on relevant Adult Support and Protection legislation \n\n\nlearn how to implement and use local Adult Protection Procedures \n\n\nunderstand duties to report\, inquire and co-operate \n\n\nunderstand the roles and responsibilities of agencies and professionals \n\n\ngain awareness of attendance and participation at Adult Support and Protection Case Conferences \n\n\nThis training is delivered in partnership with West Lothian Council. \nRegister Now
