Better Breaks

Better Breaks supports the development of short break opportunities for families with disabled children and young people, by providing grants to voluntary organisations working in Scotland.

This year, Better Breaks wants to build capacity in mainstream services (i.e. youth clubs) to allow more disabled children and young people an opportunity to participate.

Youth work groups may be eligible to apply for grants to enable the inclusion of disabled young people in their activities. For example, funding could pay for support workers, staff training, or specialist equipment.

The latest round of the Better Breaks funding programme is now open for applications and the deadline for applications is 28 November
