There has been quite a bit of feedback on the negative experiences of users of West Lothian accessible taxis. To address this, Damian Timson is hosting a meeting next week with the taxi service to discuss issues raised. Connected Neighbour Network (Craigshill) have created a survey to gather the views of users of the service and will present this at the meeting.

This summer we’re launching a new public campaign #SocialSummer2018 - to inspire the public to get out during their holidays and visit the many social enterprises across Scotland and the UK.
Our brilliant social enterprise community is thriving and making a real difference. It offers a wealth of activities and shopping experiences during the summer holidays including sports centres, gift shops, places to stay, theatres, outdoor activities, cafes and many other places that people can visit.

The Great Get Together is taking place over the weekend of 22-24 June. The objective is simply to bring people together and emphasise that what unites us is greater than what divides us. It was inspired by Jo Cox and falls on the anniversary of her death.
