BBC Children in Need - Advisory Committee recruitment

​BBC Children in Need is recruiting for new members of the Scotland Advisory Committee and the Chair of the Committee.
 
The Advisory Committee and Chair are key parts in our grant-making process and work closely with the Scotland staff team to ensure that our grants continue to go where they are most needed.
 
Each Advisory Committee member is part of a small team, who collectively bring together a range of skills, knowledge and experience. This can include: working with children and young people; the voluntary sector; disability; social services; equal opportunities; business planning and finance; the rights of the child, and lived experience of some of the challenges we seek to address. We highly value the benefits of having different points of view and experiences on our Advisory Committee and welcome applications from everyone irrespective of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, faith and religion, disability and age.
 
Although these are unpaid roles, appropriate support will be offered to enable the full participation of all successful applicants.
