Craigshill Good Neighbour Network would like to invite you to their "Disco Through The Decades" which they are hosting as part of The Great Get Together to mark the birthday of murdered MP Jo Cox.
The first Great Get Together was held last year on the anniversary of Jo's murder. This year her family have decided to move the celebrations to the weekend of what would have been her 44th birthday. CGNN are delighted to be part of this national campaign providing an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Jo's belief that "we have more in common, than that which divides us".
A number of their members will be spinning the decks having trained with a professional DJ who is bringing his laser lights and projectors to make this an event something special to Craigshill on a Friday afternoon.
They would be delighted if you would join them on Friday 22nd June 1.30-3.30pm.
Let your hair down, pick up your glow stick and enjoy an afternoon with your neighbours.
Please let them know if you are able to attend, ring 01506 442093 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

There is a new exciting community-based programme in West Lothian. The programme is called ‘Generation for Generation’ and is designed to promote health and wellbeing in adults aged 60-85. The volunteers will be involved in activities in the local primary schools, assisting the pupils academically, in a range of areas, such as reading, writing, and numeracy. Benefits for both the older adults and children are expected. Volunteers will work one-on-one or with small groups of children at a time, as required by the teachers.
Currently, we look forward to hearing from people aged 60-85 from Bathgate, Blackburn, Armadale, Fauldhouse, and Whitburn, who would like to help us with the programme.
