Know someone Deaf that wants to learn First Aid through BSL instead of having to use a BSL interpreter that many training providers will not pay for? Then this certificated one day course at Deaf Action on Wednesday 20th June might be perfect for them!
Please watch video for more information in BSL.
The course is presented by Katy Carrick-Anderson, a qualified first aid trainer who is hearing but is fluent in BSL.
The course is ITA funded so people can apply for funding to fully cover the course fee if they are eligible.
To find the right course, please go to https://www.myworldofwork.co.uk/learn-and-train/ and search for "EFAW BSL" and set Location to Edinburgh. It should appear near the top of the search results called 'Emergency First Aid at Work (BSL)' People can then apply for ITA funding and book themselves on the course.
Please note that the First Aid course is for Deaf BSL users only. Share with anyone that you think would like to get First Aid training and boost their CV!
If you have any questions or need support with applying for ITA funding, please contact Katy at email@example.com or SMS at 07715 024720
