Dear Sir / Madam and distinguished friends,
I am humbled with utmost delight and reverence to introduce Global Voluntary Development Association (GVDA) to you.

GVDA is a leading International non-profit making organization established in 1997 in Nairobi Kenya a beautiful land in the heart of the Savannah. It is a non profit making organization that offers exciting activities and life changing intercultural experiences. For those who fancy big challenges the projects are exceptionally rewarding volunteer and internship opportunities in developing countries and around the world!

GVDA volunteer Strategy promotes:

Transnational volunteering
Greater recognition of the value of voluntary activities and the skills it promotes
Good working conditions for young volunteers and opportunities for enriching work
Inter-generational solidarity
GVDA focuses on high-impact and high-quality volunteer service and community development programs. We are driven by the desire to build a global network of audacious people united by their passion to make a difference.we have volunteer programs and internships spread annually that are focused on youth ,students and people of all ages. To date thousands have successfully participated in hundreds of projects that bring positive change to the lives of marginalized youth, children with disabilities and women.

Our programs are focusing on youth mobility currently attracting hundreds of young people from abroad every year to participate in education and cultural programs that have a work element , including summer camps. The work combines, short term, group home-stays, mid , long term, internship and International volunteer positions GVDA programs last from one week to six months. Longer programs are excellent for those looking for career-development opportunities to build on their education and gain professional experience in their field. Short-term trips are designed for younger volunteers, including high school students, who want to find new friends, adventure, learn new skills, grow their perspectives, eco tourism and support good causes with grassroots community groups, government organizations, non-governmental organizations, university groups and private initiatives making positive change in education, health and livelihoods to promote sustainable development.

Volunteers explore various diversified project streams, take a leap by increasing their ability to navigate today’s challenging economic environment and achieve sustainability. Many of GVDA staff members have served as volunteers abroad. They understand the complex nature of poverty by designing appropriate interventions, and constantly improving our programmes so they have confidence in their projects, have awesome first-hand experience as leaders, and want to share those same amazing experiences with fellow travelers who want to volunteer overseas.

The friends, memories and experiences gained with volunteers / interns will stay for a lifetime. In view of the above conviction i am writing to request Global Voluntary Development Association to partner with your esteemed organization thereby initiating exchange programmes of mutual trust, shared goals and strategies.I remain amenable to your valued advise and prompt response at your earliest convenience.

Looking forward to link up and connect in a rich, fulfilling, meaningful exchange, high impact learning and working opportunity.

With kindest and respectful regards.

Sincerely

Bernard Wanyonyi
