Who are we? CAB West Lothian is a dynamic Voluntary Organisation offering free advice, guidance, negotiation and representation services to everyone on a large variety of issues, from employment, debt and consumer issues to benefits and debt advice. We are based in Craigshill with outreach services all across West Lothian.
Why volunteer? Volunteering with a CAB is a great way to pick up new skills, make new friends and be part of a vibrant team. Not only is it worthwhile, volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding.
So, if you are a good listener, work well in a team, do not judge people or their circumstances, can read and write English, have a basic grasp of Arithmetic and IT skills, enjoy helping all kinds of people and have around four hours to spare a week – we would love to hear from you!
Over 50% of the volunteers who leave the CAB move into paid employment – its great work experience and has many transferrable skills.
