You are invited to the second free online information session about Nightstop. It’s an informative hour from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday 24th November.
Nightstop is an emergency accommodation service in West Lothian for young people aged 16 to 25 years. Volunteer hosts provide their spare room, meals, and an empathetic ear to a young person at a time of crisis in their lives for a few nights up to several weeks to prevent them from staying in unsuitable or dangerous places.
Covered in the session will be how Nightstop is changing young peoples’ lives in West Lothian and what it means to be a volunteer host. One of the Nightstop volunteers will share their personal experience and answer any questions you have.
Also in attendance will be West Lothian Council’s Youth Emergency Prevention Officer Lisa Campbell, to explain her role in preventing youth homelessness and answer any questions you have.
