A Community service available in Armadale and Blackridge, Bathgate, Fauldhouse and Breich Valley, Linlithgow, Livingston North, Livingston South, Whitburn and Blackburn.

The work of our Services Welfare teams is wide and varied, and it takes specific training to be able to offer support to soldiers in the British Armed Forces, wherever they are in the world. We currently run more than 55 Services Welfare sites at home and abroad.

Services Welfare Officers work with army units to provide crucial back-up to soldiers who need support. Sometimes it might be just a friendly face to speak to, at other times it can mean being there to offer a link to potentially lifesaving help and advice.

The Services Welfare centre on a military base offers a home from home atmosphere with comfy sofas, TVs, a kitchen and space to play pool or console games. More than 370,000 service personnel visit the centres every year and our staff provide one-to-one welfare help to more than 2,200 personnel.
