SFRS Draft Long Term Vision – Public Consultation

Following extensive staff engagement over the last nine months, the draft long-term vision (LTV) for the Service has now been approved by the SFRS Board. On Monday 7 June, we begin a six-week public consultation exercise to review the LTV and this will run until 18 July 2021.

Through the consultation, we’re seeking views from the Scottish public and from our public and third sector partners on our plans for how the Service should evolve over the next decade and beyond. Our full long-term draft vision document is available on our website, www.firescotland.gov.uk

The vision document can also be provided in other languages and formats on request. Any alternative format requests you receive should be e-mailed to SFRS.OurVisionConsultation@firescotland.gov.uk. Similarly, if you need any assistance or if any significant issues arise that you think we should be aware of, please contact us via this mailbox. The website and the full document explain how the public and our partners can add their voice to the conversation and share their views via our questionnaire.
