The Scottish Government has committed more than £60 million in funding for pilot projects aimed at improving essential services and tackling child poverty.
As part of the new Fairer Funding pilot, 45 organisations across Scotland will receive multi-year grants to support work in key areas such as health, education, poverty, and culture. The initiative aligns with the Scottish Government’s priority of eradicating child poverty by providing long-term financial support to organisations delivering vital services.
The funding, subject to budget approval, will total £61.7 million in 2025-26 and increase to £63.2 million in 2026-27.
