The University of Edinburgh’s Community Grants scheme runs twice a year and is currently open for applications. The deadline for applications is 5pm, Friday 29th October.
Local organisations and charities can apply for up to £5,000 for projects that could bring about positive social impact. Successful applications will also have the potential to form a new, positive relationship with the University or grow an existing one.
The scheme helps the development of projects, community activities and sustainable local action through funding and collaboration with the University. So far, the scheme has awarded more than £400,000 to local projects.
Applying organisations must have an annual income of less than £1 million and an organisational bank account.
Applicants are welcome to discuss a possible application, including how to partner with the University, with the University’s Community Team. To arrange a call, please email local@ed.ac.uk.
