The National Recruitment Campaign is a joint effort to support Scotland’s voluntary sector, focusing on boosting volunteer numbers. A recent survey by the VAP Cost of Living Task Group revealed a decline in volunteers, particularly among young people and diverse communities, affecting key areas like health, disability, and local activities.

The campaign offers a wide range of resources, including guidance and best practices, to help organisations overcome recruitment challenges. It also fosters networking opportunities for Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs) to collaborate and share solutions, building skills to attract and retain volunteers.

Whether you’re new to volunteer recruitment or looking to improve, the campaign provides ongoing updates, expert advice, and proven strategies.
