Purpose of the Post
The post offers an excellent opportunity to join a well – established, committed team, offering a diverse range of youth and community-based programmes throughout West Lothian.
The duties expected will be to:-
- Effectively manage sales and purchase ledgers, journals, accruals,prepayments and other accounting functions using Sage accounting systems or similar package.
- Produce monthly management accounts, budget analysis and cash flow projections.
- Preparation of annual independent examination/audit.
- Participation in team meetings and appropriate training.
Any other reasonable administrative duties as requested by the Project Director or Board of Trustees.
The job predominantly involves working within a self – contained office in Craigshill, Livingston (Some home based work may be negotiated).
Mental agility will be required to deal with a number of administrative tasks, some of these will be time sensitive, requiring the ability to prioritise workload, be self- motivating and be able to concentrate in a busy working environment.
Excellent financial, administrative, and organisational skills with a proven ability to carry out tasks and using personal initiative.
High level of competence in the use of computers and systems, e.g., Use of Sage, Microsoft office and database packages.
