Applications are now open for the Scottish Connections Fund, a grant scheme designed to strengthen ties with Scotland’s global diaspora and promote the nation’s identity, culture, and reputation around the world.
The fund supports new and innovative projects that help connect people of Scottish heritage, wherever they may be, and shine a light on Scotland’s values, creativity and global contributions.
In 2025–26, a total of £75,000 is available – a 50% increase from the previous round – with individual grants of up to £5,000. At least 15 projects will be funded, offering a valuable opportunity for organisations to bring their ideas to life.
Eligible projects must aim to:

Strengthen links with Scotland’s diaspora

Celebrate Scottish identity and culture

Raise awareness of Scotland’s reputation and international relationships
