UK charities can now apply for funding of up to £2,500 from the Fat Beehive Foundation to strengthen their digital presence and reach more people online.

The fund supports charities with an average annual income of less than £1 million, helping to cover digital costs often excluded from other funding streams. Grants can be used for projects such as building websites or apps, digitising services, or purchasing digital tools.

Established in 2020 by the digital agency Fat Beehive, the Foundation operates independently and is run by a board of trustees. Each year, the agency contributes a portion of its profits to the Foundation, though funding decisions are made solely by the trustees.

The Foundation prioritises support for “hard-to-fund” organisations, including those working with prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged young people.

Applications are accepted year-round, with reviews taking place at trustee meetings in April and October. The deadline for the next round is 5pm on Tuesday 30th September 2025.
