Unpaid carers in West Lothian can now access information, advice and support more easily through a new online process developed by West Lothian Council and Carers of West Lothian.
The service offers clear guidance for carers, including advice to help prepare for an Adult Carer Support Plan from Carers of West Lothian. Depending on the type of support needed, each request will be directed to the organisation best placed to provide help – ensuring carers are connected quickly and effectively with the right service.
This streamlined approach is designed to make it simpler for carers to access the support they require, whether that is from the Council, Carers of West Lothian, or another relevant service.
