Disclosure Scotland has launched a new e-course designed to support all Disclosure applicants — including those applying to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme — to understand each stage of the online Disclosure process.

By encouraging applicants to complete the e-course before beginning their application, Disclosure Scotland aims to ensure people are well prepared and clear about what is required of them.
Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Services has highlighted that many applicants are currently not sharing their completed Disclosure with the relevant organisation. They emphasise that sharing the result is the applicant’s responsibility, and this step must be completed to progress volunteering or employment roles.
