Financial Data Operative
Hours: Part-time – 14 hours per week (flexible)
Salary: £14.91 per hour
Accountable to: Senior Management
Purpose of the Role
The Financial Data Operative will support the organisation’s financial administration, including maintaining financial records, producing management accounts and supporting financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities

Financial data input using Sage 50 Accounts

Producing monthly management accounts and cashflow projections

Managing sales and purchase ledgers
-
Processing invoicing, journals, accruals and prepayments
-
Maintaining financial recording systems
-
Bank reconciliation and petty cash processes
-
Supporting preparation for annual independent examination/audit

Participating in team meetings and training
-
Carrying out other reasonable financial administrative duties

Essential

Strong financial, administrative and organisational skills

Experience using accounting systems (e.g. Sage), Microsoft Office and databases

Excellent telephone manner

Sessional Detached Youth Worker
Hours: Part-time – various shifts available
Salary: £14.91 per hour (approx. 3–4 hour shifts)
Accountable to: Senior Management
Job Purpose
The Youth Action Project is looking to expand its team of sessional youth workers to deliver detached street work across West Lothian. The role focuses on prevention and early intervention with young people who may be at risk or require support.
Workers engage with young people in their own communities, building relationships and connecting them with appropriate services and opportunities.
Current availability is mainly for Friday and Saturday evening sessions.
Key Tasks
