The Rural Community Led Local Development (RCLLD) Programme for West Lothian is now open for Expressions of Interest.
This funding supports projects in rural areas that deliver meaningful impact for local communities and contribute to key Scottish Government priorities.
What is RCLLD?
RCLLD is a grant programme designed to support community-led projects that strengthen rural areas across West Lothian. It offers an opportunity for organisations to develop ideas that respond directly to local needs.
Priority areas
Projects must contribute to at least one of the following priorities:
- Eradicating child poverty
- Growing the economy
- Tackling the climate emergency
- High quality and sustainable public services
How to apply
The application process is in two stages:
- Expression of Interest (EoI) – a short summary of your project
- Full application – invited if your EoI is eligible
Deadline
The deadline for full applications is Wednesday 29 April 2026.
