Community groups across the UK can now apply for funding to support safe, welcoming spaces where people can come together.
The Local Community Spaces Fund, delivered by the Asda Foundation, aims to support projects that reduce loneliness and strengthen local connections. Many community spaces are vital lifelines, but require investment to repair, renovate or develop so they can continue delivering essential services.
Since 2022, the fund has invested over £3 million into community hubs across the UK. In 2026, a further £1 million will be made available to support projects that bring people together and help tackle isolation.
