West Lothian Council has launched a public consultation on its draft Children’s Services Plan 2026–2029, setting out a shared vision and key priorities to improve outcomes for children, young people and families across West Lothian.
The plan has been shaped by national policy, local feedback from children, young people and families, and learning from previous plans. It focuses on early intervention, prevention and reducing inequalities.
Organisations, staff, families, carers, and young people are all encouraged to take part and share their views. Feedback will play an important role in shaping the final plan and ensuring it reflects local needs.
The consultation asks three key questions:
- Do you agree with the vision and priority areas?
- Are there any gaps in the proposed priorities?
- Is there anything else you would like to share?
We encourage members to share this consultation widely across their networks, including with service users, teams and partners.
