First Step Robotics will be hosting their upcoming 123Robot Competition and Family Open Day on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Xcite Broxburn.
The free community event will bring together young people, families and the wider community for an afternoon of hands-on robotics, coding and engineering activities.
A key highlight of the day will be the student-led robotics competition, showcasing the creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills developed through the organisation’s programmes.
The event will include:
- LEGO robotics
- Programming with 123Robot kits
- Impact Drive Challenge
- Live robot dog demonstrations
- Kid-friendly electronic circuits
- Interactive family activities and more
The robotics competition for registered teams begins at 12pm, with public viewing from 1:30pm. Family activities and exploration sessions will run from 1:30pm–3:30pm.
