As part of Net Zero Week, we’re recognising the people who help make sustainability a priority at Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian.
We’re proud to highlight Victoria Isbister, our Sector Support Assistant and Green Champion, who plays a key role in supporting our organisation’s environmental ambitions.
Victoria is always looking for practical ways to make The Gateway more environmentally friendly. From encouraging sustainable working practices to identifying opportunities to reduce our environmental impact, she helps ensure sustainability remains part of our day-to-day operations.
As part of her role, Victoria regularly monitors our electricity consumption and keeps track of the energy generated by our solar panels. This helps us better understand our energy usage, measure the benefits of our renewable energy systems and identify where further improvements can be made.
Creating a more sustainable organisation is a shared responsibility, and we’re grateful to have colleagues like Victoria who are committed to helping us reduce our environmental impact and contribute to a greener future for West Lothian.
This Net Zero Week, we’re celebrating the positive steps being taken across our organisation and recognising that small, consistent actions can make a real difference.
Thank you Victoria, for your continued commitment to sustainability and for helping make The Gateway a greener place to work.
