Social Enterprise Scotland is hosting a free online event exploring how Fair Trade principles can help social enterprises develop ethical, transparent and sustainable supply chains.

Taking place on Tuesday 4 August 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, the session will examine how responsible sourcing can create positive social impact both locally and internationally.

Attendees will hear from a panel of guest speakers, including:

  • Dorcas Apoore – ASIGE
  • Jawahir Al-Mauly – Ujamaa Spice
  • Kiera Wilkins – Scottish Fair Trade

The discussion will explore how social enterprises can strengthen relationships with suppliers, support fairer livelihoods and contribute to a more equitable global economy through ethical purchasing and partnership.

Whether your organisation already works with international supply chains or is interested in learning more about Fair Trade and responsible sourcing, this session offers practical insights and real-world examples to help inform your approach.
