Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian will soon be opening applications for the Year 6 Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund micro-grants scheme.

Due to the Scottish Government’s Fairer Funding pilot, a significant portion of the Year 5 and Year 6 funding has already been allocated to organisations across West Lothian. As a result, a micro-grants scheme will operate for Year 6 only.

A total of £26,500 will be available to support mental health and wellbeing activity delivered by voluntary and third sector organisations across West Lothian during 2027/28.

Funding available

Eligible organisations will be able to apply for grants of between £500 and £2,500 to support projects and activities that promote positive mental health and wellbeing within local communities.

The full guidance and application form are currently being finalised and will be published shortly.

In the meantime, we encourage voluntary and third sector organisations to keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further updates. More information on the application process, eligibility criteria and how to apply will be available soon.
