Quarterly Third Sector Peer Support Group

Join us for our next Quarterly Third Sector Peer Support Group, open to staff from third sector organisations across West Lothian.

These informal sessions are an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the sector, share experiences, discuss common challenges, and hear about local opportunities and updates. Whether you’ve attended before or it’s your first time, you’ll be made very welcome.

Income Diversification Training

Join Triceratops Training for this practical online session exploring how charities can develop a wider range of income streams to build long-term financial sustainability.

The session will explore the different sources of income available to charitable organisations and provide a simple approach to identifying the options that best suit your organisation. It is aimed at small, local charities, community groups and Community Interest Companies (CICs) without dedicated fundraising teams.

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Learn how to identify the income streams best suited to your organisation.
  • Feel more confident about planning your next steps towards income diversification.

New to AI? This one-hour introductory session is designed for absolute beginners who want to understand what AI is, how it can be used in the workplace, and how to start using it with confidence.

We’ll cover the basics in a simple, jargon-free way, including practical uses, writing effective prompts, and important considerations such as accuracy, privacy and responsible use.

Intro to Carbon Literacy – Online Lunchtime Session

Curious about carbon literacy but not sure what it involves?

Join West Lothian Climate Action Network (WLCAN) for a free, 30-minute online lunchtime taster session to learn what Carbon Literacy training is, why it matters, and how it can help you or your organisation take practical action on climate change.

This relaxed session is a chance to find out what the training involves, ask questions, and see if it’s right for you. If there’s enough interest, full Carbon Literacy training will be offered in West Lothian later this autumn.
