The Morrisons Foundation has launched a new £1 million Connecting Communities Fund, offering grants of up to £20,000 to charities looking to improve community spaces across the UK.
The programme is designed to support charities providing important local services and activities that bring people together, helping them invest in the spaces at the heart of their communities.
Grants of up to £20,000
Eligible charities can apply for funding towards capital improvement projects, including:
- New equipment
- Essential maintenance
- Refurbishment of community facilities
- Improvements that help keep spaces accessible and fit for purpose
The fund could support a wide range of community facilities, including village halls, community centres, youth clubs, warm hubs, hospices and other spaces providing place-based support.
