Unpaid carers across West Lothian are invited to attend Carers Rights Day 2026 on Thursday 19th November at Strathbrock Partnership Centre in Broxburn.
The free drop-in event will take place from 1pm to 3pm, bringing together local organisations and services to provide information, advice and practical support for people who care for a family member, friend or neighbour.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about their rights as unpaid carers and explore the support available to them and the people they care for.
Information and advice will be available on a range of topics, including:
- Rights and entitlements for unpaid carers
- Benefits and financial support
- Social care support
- Rights for carers in employment
- NHS winter vaccinations
- Local social and community groups
