People across West Lothian are being encouraged to take part in a national consultation on proposals for a permanent memorial in Scotland to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The consultation invites individuals, community groups and organisations to share their views on the memorial’s purpose, design, scale and location.

Moira Niven MBE, Lord-Lieutenant for West Lothian, is encouraging local communities and organisations to get involved and help inform the proposals.

Feedback gathered through the consultation will be analysed and used to inform recommendations to the Scottish Government, expected in Spring 2027.

The consultation closes on Sunday 13th December 2026.
