Carers Week 2025 launches theme 'Caring About Equality' | Carers Week

Carers’ Week 2025 will take place from Monday 9 June to Sunday 15 June, celebrating and recognising the vital work of unpaid carers across the UK.

This year’s theme, “Caring About Equality”, highlights the inequalities unpaid carers face, including risks of poverty, isolation, and poor health. The campaign calls for a fairer society where carers of all ages are supported, valued, and recognised.

Who is a carer?
A carer is someone who provides unpaid support to a loved one due to illness, disability, addiction, mental health needs or age-related challenges.

Organisations and individuals across the UK will mark the week with events, activities, and awareness-raising efforts.
