Yesterday, our Partnerships Development Officer, Tracy, had the pleasure of visiting Team Jak Foundation – Jak’s Den as they celebrated a major milestone: 10 years as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)! 🎉💛

Founded in memory of Jak Trueman, Team Jak has spent the past decade providing vital emotional, social, and practical support to children, young people, and families affected by cancer and related illnesses. Their work helps ease the burden during some of life’s most challenging moments, offering hope and comfort when it’s needed most.

Tracy’s visit included a guided tour of their incredible facilities, including dedicated therapy pods for music therapy, relaxation, and counselling. She also explored their beautifully designed spaces tailored for both teens and younger children—warm, welcoming environments that clearly reflect the care and thought behind everything Team Jak does.

The day also featured a moving presentation, sharing the journey of Team Jak over the past 10 years. It was a heartfelt reflection on the organisation’s resilience, love, and meaningful impact, as well as a look forward to their exciting plans for the future.

We want to extend our warmest congratulations to everyone at Team Jak for reaching this inspiring milestone. Your work is a beacon of strength and compassion in the community, and we are proud to celebrate this achievement with you.

Here’s to the next 10 years of support, growth, and hope. 💛🎗️🎶
