The Community Learning and Development (CLD) Workforce Survey is now live, and we’re encouraging people across West Lothian to take part and help spread the word.
Complete the survey here: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/CLDWorkforceSurvey/
CLD is a key part of the education sector in Scotland and includes youth work, community-based adult learning, family learning and community development. At its heart, CLD supports people of all ages to identify their goals, engage in learning and take action to create positive change for themselves and their communities.
You may clearly identify as a CLD practitioner or employer — but the survey is also keen to hear from people who may not automatically see themselves as working in CLD, even though they use CLD approaches in their roles. This could include staff or volunteers working in areas such as:
-
community development
-
adult or family learning (including ESOL)
-
youth work
-
community planning
-
health
-
employability
-
poverty and inequality
The purpose of the survey is to capture up-to-date workforce data, building on findings from the previous survey carried out in 2018. This information is vital in helping shape future planning, policy and support for the CLD workforce.
The survey will remain open for around eight weeks, closing at the end of February. To ensure your response is counted, please complete it as soon as possible.
