Two funding opportunities from Corra Foundation are now open for community organisations across Scotland.

Household Hardship Fund
This £1.5 million fund, provided by the Scottish Government, offers grants to charities, community groups and social enterprises to provide direct financial support to families and children on low incomes.

Funding can be used for essentials such as food, fuel and clothing.

  • £500 minimum grant

  • Up to £7,500 for organisations with income under £125,000

  • Up to £15,000 for organisations with income between £125,000 and £250,000

  • All funding must be distributed to families by 15th June 2026

The fund will close once all funding has been allocated, and demand is expected to be high, so organisations are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Boost Fund
The Boost Fund supports small, community-led groups working to address poverty, disadvantage or local needs.

  • Open to constituted and unconstituted groups with income under £50,000

  • Grants of £500–£3,000 for constituted groups

  • Grants of £250–£1,500 for unconstituted groups

  • No closing date (funding available until March 2026)

Funding can support practical help, local activities, or other community-led initiatives that benefit local people.
