Scotland’s National Day of Movement is back – a day to recognise and celebrate the important role physical activity plays in the lives of people living with long-term health conditions.
Whether it’s a walk, a stretch, or something more energetic – all movement matters. This day is about acknowledging that sometimes our health makes moving difficult, but also celebrating the strength, resilience and support that helps people keep going.
It’s a chance to shine a light on those who find joy in moving, despite the challenges – and to thank the people who make it possible: coaches, healthcare professionals, friends, and family.
