Good Conversation Training – Free Session for Volunteers

Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian, in partnership with Linking Lives, is offering a free training session to help volunteers build confidence and develop stronger communication skills when supporting others in their community.

Delivered by Linking Lives, the Good Conversation Training focuses on developing the skills and confidence needed to have meaningful conversations and provide effective support in community settings.

Participants will:

  • Develop confidence in having meaningful, supportive conversations

  • Learn practical active listening skills

  • Build stronger relationships with the people they support

This friendly, interactive session is ideal for anyone volunteering in a community-facing role, such as befriending, community cafés, food support projects, or wellbeing groups.
