The Kelly Family Charitable Trust offers grants of up to £5,000 to registered charities that support families to work together and overcome challenges.
Both revenue and capital funding are available, including support for core running costs, making this a particularly valuable opportunity for newer organisations. In some cases, larger grants may be awarded at the trustees’ discretion.
The Trust supports projects that help prevent family breakdown, including work providing practical support, counselling, and mediation, as well as initiatives addressing domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance misuse, and support for prisoners’ families. While priority is given to charities with an annual income below £500,000, innovative pilot projects from larger organisations may also be considered.
Previous beneficiaries include Mosac and Westminster Befriend a Family.
Grants are awarded twice a year, with the next closing date on Sunday 1 March 2026.
