West Lothian residents experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs can now access friendly, one-to-one support through the Community Volunteer Mental Health First Aiders Befriending Project, offered by EnvironmentalHealth CIC and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
The project provides trained volunteer Mental Health First Aiders who offer regular befriending support, helping individuals to build confidence, reduce isolation, and feel more connected within their community.
Referrals are welcome for anyone who could benefit from this service. To make a referral, an online referral form is available.
The project aims to strengthen community wellbeing across West Lothian by offering accessible, understanding support to those who need it.
