FEL Scotland is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs for its Our Future, Our Say Climate Change Plan Consultation Fund.
The fund has been created to support communities who may be most affected by climate change to take part in the Scottish Government’s consultation on its Draft Climate Change Plan 2026–2040. The draft plan places the principles of a Just Transition at its core, and this fund aims to ensure that voices which are often underrepresented are heard as part of the consultation process.
Funding is available to cover the costs of hosting community events that bring people together to discuss the draft Climate Change Plan and contribute responses. As a thank you for their time, participants attending funded events will receive a £35 supermarket voucher.
FEL Scotland is particularly encouraging EOIs from groups and communities representing:
-
LGBTQIA+ people
-
Women and people of minority genders
-
People from ethnic minority backgrounds
-
People with disabilities
-
New Scots
-
Children and young people
Groups successful in securing funding will receive additional support, including a resource pack and practical guidance on planning and delivering their event. FEL Scotland anticipates funding up to 15 participant vouchers per event; groups should indicate within their EOI if they expect to require more than this, so it can be considered.
The consultation closes on Sunday 23 January 2026. All funded events must take place before this date, and all responses gathered must be submitted by the deadline.
To submit an Expression of Interest, or for further details, please complete the online application form. Further information is also available on the FEL Scotland website.
