Pathways to Volunteering – Build Skills, Confidence and Experience

If you’re thinking about volunteering but aren’t sure where to start, the Pathways to Volunteering course can help you take the first step.

This supportive programme introduces you to the world of volunteering and helps you explore opportunities that match your interests, strengths and personal goals.

What the course offers

The course is designed to help you:

  • Identify volunteering opportunities that suit you

  • Build confidence and develop teamwork skills

  • Set personal goals and plan your next steps

  • Recognise and overcome any barriers you may be facing

Whether you’re looking to gain new skills, improve your confidence, or explore a new area of interest, the course provides a practical and supportive environment to get started.

Qualification opportunity

Participants also have the option to work towards an SQA Level 3 Award in Preparing to Volunteer, helping to recognise your learning and strengthen your experience.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to move closer to volunteering, employment, education or personal development.
