A PhD researcher from Heriot-Watt University is looking to hear from late-diagnosed autistic women about their workplace experiences during or after peri/menopause.
The research is being led by Gemma Gray, a late-diagnosed autistic researcher, and focuses on understanding how menopause and autism can impact employment experiences and career decisions. The study has been co-designed with autistic women to ensure the approach is inclusive and sensitive.
Who can take part?
You may be eligible if you:

Are a late-diagnosed autistic woman (formally diagnosed or self-identified)

Are experiencing or have experienced peri/menopause
-
Work in a senior or managerial role (for example, managing a team or in a long-term career)

Are interested in sharing your experiences
What’s involved?
Participants will be asked to:

Take part in two individual research sessions (face-to-face in Edinburgh or potentially online)

Join one online follow-up session

Choose a research method that suits them

Share their experiences and perspectives
This is a pilot study designed to better understand the challenges and support needs of autistic women in the workplace.
