SiRD 2024-2027 will fund independent support services and help people use Self-directed Support (SDS) options to organise and manage their social care and support between April 2024 to March 2027. https://www.inspiringscotland.org.uk/support-in-the-right-direction-2024-2027/
The programme will distribute in the region of £3m per year (subject to parliamentary approval) and as a guide they expect to invest up to £100,000 per local authority area. Independent support services now have the opportunity to apply for SiRD funding to deliver independent support between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2027.
